Cereal

Strawberry

1/2 cup Keto Cereal

1/2 cup Sugarfree Strawberry syrup

1/8 tsp stevia (optional)

Microwave 1 minute in a micro safe bowl.

NOTE: the cereal swells, make sure the bowl is big enough

Add sliced berries and a Tblspn of heavy cream

You can allow it to cool or eat it warm.

Maple Walnut

Substitute with Pancake syrup

Add 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts

Add a pinch of cinnamon for a little extra zip!

Top with cream (optional) (as always)

The carb count will vary, depending on how heavy handed you are with fruit and cream

The Strawberry version, as listed will be approx. 5 carbs

Variations I have tried

Banana Nut -(Banana syrup and pecans)

Apple Cinnamon - (Apple syrup and cinnamon)

Orange & Vanilla (Mandarin Orange syrup and 1/4 tsp Vanilla)

Peaches & Cream (Peach syrup and Cream)

Blueberries and Cream (Vanilla syrup and 1/2 cup blueberries)


Seafood Bisque For Six

1 can of chicken broth 2 cans of water

1 - 8 oz can of tomato sauce

1 cup of chopped celery

1/2 cup chopped green onions (including the green)

salt & pepper to taste

1 tblsp minced garlic

1 tsp dried sweet basil

butter

Old Bay Seasoning (just a dash)

1 can of minced clams

1 can of shredded crab meat

1 can of small shrimp

1/2 cup heavy cream

sour cream

 

Saute the celery and onions in the butter. Heat the chicken broth, water and tomato sauce in a soup pot, then add the softened celery & onions. Add the seasonings and simmer for one hour. Then, thirty minutes before serving add the seafood and the cream allow to finish cooking over low heat. Serve with a garnish of tsp of sour cream island floating in the center.

The carb count depends on the serving size. If this recipe is equally divided into six portions, there should be no more than 5 carbs per serving.

 


Dumplings

2 cans chicken broth

1 can water

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1/4 cup finely chopped carrot

1/2 cup finely chopped celery

salt and pepper to taste

pinch of sage (optional)

1 cup diced cooked turkey or chicken breast

5 slices of American Cheese

1 bag Carbolite bread mix or 1/2 bag Ketogenics bread machine mix

1 egg

 

Allow all ingredients to boil together in a soup pot until veggies are al dente (approx 20 minutes)

Mix egg with bread mix and enough water to make a stiff dough. (note: the Carbolite mix has Splenda in it and will make a sweet bread dumpling)

Drop by spoonfuls into boiling soup until the dumplings are fluffy and cooked through. Add five slices of American cheese to the mixture and allow to melt.

Serve in big soup bowls with a little grated cheese as garnish and a salad.

Equals four generous servings

Carb Count using all ingredients - 6 per serving


Pumpkin Pecan Pie

 

6 eggs

2 blocks cream cheese

1/2 cup canned pumpkin

1 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup Sugar free Pancake syrup

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1/2 tsp Stevia

 

Blend all ingredients in blender. Bake in deep 9" pie dish that has been sprayed with Pam.

350 degrees for 50 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting.

1 pie equals 8 servings

Approx. 5 carbs per slice


A quick, satisfying, low carb lunch

Cheeseburger Salad

 

To make one serving:

Grill or charcoal 1patty of hamburger or sirloin, then add a slice of cheddar cheese till melty. Cut up into bitesized chunks.

Arrange crisp Romaine lettuce in a bowl or salad plate, top with diced tomatoes and sweet mustard dressing then top

with the cheeseburger pieces.

Sweet Mustard Dressing:

1/2 cup Mayo

2 tblsp Mustard

1/8 tsp Stevia

1 tblsp lemon juice

Mix until smooth. Add small amount of water to thin if necessary.

Carbs = 2.5


Low Carb Bagels team up with bacon, egg and cheese for a perfect breakfast

For one serving:

1 low carb bagel - available from Low-Carb.com

scrambled egg

2 slices crisp bacon

slice of cheddar cheese.

Butter and toast the bagel to melt the cheese then pile on the egg and bacon.

Carbs= 15


Coconut Pie

 

6 eggs

2 -8 oz packages cream cheese

1/2 cup DaVinci Sugarfree Coconut Syrup

1/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup fresh grated coconut

1/2 tsp Stevia

1 tsp vanilla

Blend in blender. Bake a 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Allow to cool then

spread on topping then chill

Topping:

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup fresh grated coconut

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/8 tsp Stevia

 

Serves 8 -

5 grams carb per serving


Turkey Salad Tortillas

 

Recipe equals four servings

2 cups finely diced turkey breast

1 cup finely chopped celery

1 cup finely chopped pecans

1/2 cup mayo

1 tsp lemon juice

1/8 tsp Stevia

4 low carb tortillas (available from Synergydiet.com and LowCarbConnoisseur.com)

Carb count per serving (one tortillia) = 5.25 gm


Cherry Cheesecake

 

Six eggs

1/2 Cup Davinci Sugarfree Vanilla Syrup (sweetened with Splenda)

2 8oz. blocks of cream cheese

1/2 tsp. powdered Stevia

1 tsp vanilla (the kind with no sugar added)

1/2 can Lucky Leaf cherry pie filling(sweetened with Splenda)

dash of salt

One ceramic or glass 9" pie plate sprayed with Pam

Mix all ingredients in blender, pour into pie plate, bake in

350 degree oven for 45 -50 minutes until firm and tip of knife blade comes out clean from center.

Allow to cool then spoon out chery pie filling around perimeter. (Save other half can for another pie)

Chill thoroughly and serve with real whipped cream.

Total carbs: 5 per slice
