It would be foolish and incredibly short-sighted to believe that the newest technologies available, and yet to come, will not impact the way we publish information. Afterall, centuries of documents recorded on papyrus scrolls did eventually give way to the codex (bound manuscripts written on both sides) which then, with the invention of the Guttenberg press, evolved to printed books. Technology does have its way, sooner or later, especially if it is time-saving.

With this in mind, and understanding that certain types of books are already well suited to the pdf downloadble file format, Pixelated Publishing is focused, in this new digital era, for these specific genres. Afterall, how much easier is it for the end-user to print out a single flat page and take it to kitchen or workshop instead of wrestling with an open book? Or quickly print out multiples to hand out to scout troops or students working on a project? How much better to buy only what you want, download it and store it on your computer to print out over and over without buying forty other recipes or craft projects that will never get made? We won't even mention all the trees that didn't have to die to print out books that will end up on bargain tables, in garage sales or worse, remaindered and stored in warehouses.

Good Morning, Father

Devotionals for a Surrendered Life

by April S Fields

pdf -1.2mb

32 pages

Sunrise is the renewal of a promise. A chance to begin again, afresh, with all the bad choices of the previous days behind us, every new day is an opportunity to seek to serve God and use whatever time we have remaining to us better than we have ever done before.

We cannot know how many mornings we are granted, but if we make it through the night to see another dawn, we are given the gift of time, at least once more, to get it right. For by the amazing grace of our Sovereign God all the wrong living we have done in the past is forgiven and forgotten in the instant we are willing to surrender and move forward toward Him and His will, relinquishing our own.

Though the days we have wasted cannot be changed, the new one, unfolding in front of us, holds the promise to be the one that could make it all okay.

It's our choice.

Always,

April

There are things you do because they feel right and they make no sense and they may make no money and it may be the real reason we are here to love each other and to eat each other’s cooking and say it was good. – Brian Andreas
